Griffiths Clothing are a new designer Mens clothing brand
launching a range of unique MOD inspired clothes.
The initial request was for an ecommerce web site to sell clothing products with a CMS platform to provide the client with control over ordering and stock levels, multiple dispatch options based on shipping value or weight, allow redeemable vouchers, control ‘featured’ promotions and has distributor/resellers account setting for cross the board discounts.
Being a designer clothing store the web sites design had to reflect the ethos of the company (retro italian style crossed with 60′s MOD culture). The inclusion of a front page flash animation in the style of the ‘Thomas Crown Affair’ intro sequence transports the viewer to an era where style rained supreme. This is then complimented by simple use of line and colour all mounted on a repeating subtle floral background to appeal directly towards the brands target market.
The clothing range also needed to be photographed for use on the site so we helped with that as well, using our photographic studio to shoot against a pure white background to show the products off. Our in house photographer took care of the rest.
As well as the photography and website design we also designed the first printed T-shirt for Griffiths clothing They wanted to combine their logo design with a paisley motif. A complex paisley vector graphic was drawn up and multiple combinations of the two elements where provided. The clients selected design used the paisley randomly offset and bleeding over the boundaries of the target logo (see above).

After numerous meetings with other web designers, Griffiths-Clothing fortunately found exactly what we were looking for in Cre8iv.
We initially had our minds firmly set on how we wanted the website to look but with the help of Cre8iv’s designer we feel that we have gone above and beyond our expectations.
Not only are the staff at Cre8iv switched on, they are extremely helpful, hard working and professional.
In a sentence, highly recommendable.
