Illustration or digital art is used more than you may think.

It can be hard to find a free lance illustrator who has the flexibility to work in a variety of illustration styles and within budget. At Cre8iv Design we often get asked to produce illustrations for catalogues, pamphlets, websites and instruction manuals.

We usually like the client to show an example of the style that they are looking for or examples of any existing marketing so we can chose a suitable style to match. We also need to know the purpose of the artwork so we can make sure that it is created to the right scale.

Not all digital artwork is illustration. The most commonly use for our illustration skills is the smaller photo retouching and photo manipulation  jobs. These can be as simple as removing or substituting a background, compiling group photos or digitally airbrushing over imperfections to the more challenging tasks such as art working product shots, product visualisation or advertisements.
